Florence Marc-Charles - President
 
A native of Haiti, Florence has been living in New York since July 1970. She completed her primary and secondary school at the Institution du Sacre Coeur in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She migrated to the US and attended NYU where she took an intensive English class to prepare her entrance to the nursing program at Medgar Evers College. She completed her baccalaureate in nursing receiving a Magna Cum Laude mention. After working a few years she went back to graduate school and obtained a Master's in Public administration. She first worked in the hospital ICU and emergency room, and then changed after a few years to work for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Florence had a progressive career at VNSNY where she worked as a field nurse then she was promoted to nursing manager then to director of the department. She became the administrator of the Long Term Home Health Care program and the HIV/AIDS program servicing daily over 2500 patients in the city of New York. She was offered a job at St Mary's Hospital for Children and became the Assistant Vice President of Home Care. She retired a couple of years ago after working in her last job as the Vice President of Home Care at Jewish Home Life Care. 
Florence has been a strong advocate for children. First, as a member of the parent staff association at Lexington School & Center for the Deaf, she helped to improve the educational programs for deaf students. During the time her daughter was at Lexington, she lobbied Congress to promote the continuation of the American for Disabilities Act. So effective was her work at Lexington, that they established a scholarship in her honor. 
In 1995, Florence became the president and one of the founding members of the Friends of Montfort Inc. an organization which provides education and financial support to deaf and deaf/blind students in Haiti. The organization also provides 3 annual scholarships of 1000 dollars each for college bound deaf students living in the United States. 
Florence also worked with the Gift of Life Inc. coordinating support activities for Haitian children who come to the United States for cardiac surgery. In the past few years she has been working with Gift of Life International by participating in over 10 cardiac missions in Haiti where over 130 children received the Gift of Life. In addition, she works with L'Essor de l'An
se Pirogue as their Board Vice Chair to develop health, educational and housing programs for the residents of this community. 
As a member of the Rotary international, she has participated in several Medical and dental missions on the island of La Gonâve, Haiti where access to health care remains a challenge. 
Florence is a member of Sacred Heart Church and actively participates in many of the activities to support the parish. She is also a Eucharistic Minister. She is married to Eddy, her lifelong companion. Together they have two daughters; Sandra and Sylvie. She has three grandchildren Elena, Amour and Sia who are dear to her heart. 
Florence has a strong belief in her motto “Each one touch one to make the world a better place". 
 
Marc Rigueur - Vice President
 
Marc Rigueur the owner and operator of CYBS Accountants & Tax Specialists (CYBS), a firm that specialize in individual and business Accounting, Taxation and Consulting services. Marc uses his 20 years of experience to assist individuals as well as businesses in dealing with various accounting and tax matters, including Planning, Compliance, Tax Audits, Tax Debt Negotiation and Resolutions. The firm is also involved in consulting, assisting and training clients with Bookkeeping Systems, Accounting Methods and Business Transactions, and Internal Controls.
 
Prior to joining and then acquiring CYBS, Marc worked in both the public and private sectors. He started his career in public accounting, working for regional firms, gaining extensive experience in auditing and taxation, across a number of industries. Thereafter, he was recruited by a mid-sized, multi-subsidiary company in the financial services industry, where he held the position of Controller, and later Treasurer, thus gaining first-hand knowledge and experience in the management of several operating companies. As Controller, he not only managed the accounting, payroll, and tax departments, but also managed the quality and control functions of various companies.
 
Marc is a graduate of St. John’s University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is registered with the IRS and licensed as an Enrolled Agent (EA). He is currently a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP).
 
Outside of the accounting world, Marc is a member of the Freeport-Merrick Rotary Club (Rotary International). As a board member of the club, he does his part to operate by Rotary’s motto "Service Above Self" in life and in business.
 
Kenrick Dookram - Treasurer
 
Director Kenrick Dookram was born in Georgetown Guyana and immigrated to the United States when he was 3 years old.   Ken graduated High School in 1985 and then went on to attend and graduate from Hofstra University with a Degree in Business Management.  While at Hofstra, he also enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served honorably as an indirect fire support infantryman from May 1986 to May 1992.   
 
Ken currently works for State Farm Insurance, where he is an Agent with an office in Freeport NY.  While working in the insurance industry Ken has acquired two professional designations.  He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and is a Fellow of the Life Underwriting Training Council.
 
Ken met his wife, Sara, while they both attended Hofstra University and they were married on July 10, 1993.  They have two and a half children Benjamin Joseph (23) Lillian Cecilia (18) and Snowy Looper (Maltese, 12) who are the center of their lives.
 
Ken has been involved with several civic and religious organizations and clubs. He and his family are affiliated with Ascension Lutheran Church in Deer Park where he has served on The Church Council and various committees, has been involved in there Confirmation and youth ministries and is currently Communion Assistant and usher. Ken is currently the Chairperson of the Salvation Army Advisory Council, Freeport Citadel which services the South Shore of Nassau County.  He is currently the Second Vice President and a Director of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member, and the treasurer, of the Freeport-Merrick Rotary Club, and serves on their board, as well as on various committees.  He also has been involved as a volunteer coach for baseball, basketball, travel lacrosse and travel soccer teams with his children. 
 
Ken’s philosophy on life has been to give till it hurts.  To get better at anything, including life you have to go beyond what is customary and easy.  You must push yourself and get outside of your comfort zone.  In giving of our time and talents we show thanks for all of our blessings and are paid back ten-fold in the thanks and appreciation of the people whom we have affected.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Barry McDaniel - Secretary
 
Barry McDaniel started his life on September 04, 1969 in the Bronx NY. His family moved to Queens, New York and this is where he remained. His formal education has been in his current hometown, but his college education was in Virginia at Norfolk State University.
At the age of 21 he married the love of his life Crystal Drumgold, and from this union 3 children were born. His oldest son Malcolm received his master degree in higher education administration and is currently the assistant director of fraternity and sorority affairs at Stevens University. His middle son Dr. Terrance McDaniel is a pharmacist currently working at a Walmart in Delaware in his new position as a pharmacy Manager. His youngest child, his daughter Brittany  is a 3rd year nursing student at Molloy College.
Barry has always wanted to be a business owner and that opportunity came at age 25 when an insurance man came to his house to write an insurance policy for his mother. Barry told this gentleman I can do what you’re doing, and he did just that. Barry went to insurance school, got licensed and his career took off. He started out as a part-time agent and within 5 year became a full time agent. He then acquired  his own agency. He has held the position of the number one agency for over 15 years with Columbian Mutual Financial Group. He has been awarded the title of the Northeast leading agency, conference sales leader, Bronze division leading agent, leading sales producer, and was awarded the prestige Hermain Liss Award inaugural Hall of fame winner.
Barry has been a Boy Scout leader, he coached little league baseball for 3 years, and is a distinguished member of the father guild of Jack and Jill incorporated. He was a member of the fathers group at St. Francis Prep,  and a member of South East Queens Rotary where he held the position of vice president. Barry continues to reside in Queens, and still runs his agency with his wife Crystal. He oversees  10 full time agents.
He now takes his time to enjoy traveling with his wife and giving back to his community. Barry believes what was taught by his mother " to whom much is given much is expected ", and looks forward to continuing giving back.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Edward Maurer- Board Member and Former President
 
Edward Maurer is a dentist who retired after 41 years of private practice. He has been a Rotarian since 1996 and has held different positions in the club during his tenure. Ed has been president of the club three times and has participated in different projects that have kept the club viable over the years. He is an active member of the club and  participates in the membership committee. Ed Maurer is a Paul Harris fellow.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sam Iandiorio- Board Member
 
A long-time fixture of the Baldwin business community, Frank Electric Company on Grand Avenue has been providing its customers with expert electrical service, and has just celebrated its 50th anniversary. Founded by the late C. John Iandiorio, the family-owned and operated business is now piloted by his son, president and master electrician Sammuel Iandorio, who has been with the company for 27 years. Mr. Iandiorio and his staff offer customers a wide range of electrical services, from residential to commercial.  

Sam  Iandiorio brings a masters degree in business administration to the job, and like his father before him, a deep sense of commitment to his community. Sam has served as chairman for the Town of Hempstead Electrical Licensing Board, he was also past president of the Baldwin Chamber of commerce and past president of the Nassau Electrical League.
